What is the day-to-day like for a Sales team member?
The day-to-day of a sales team member consists of prospecting, customer follow-up, answering incoming inquiries through the internet or telephone, and finalizing sales documents. Throughout the day, sales team members will engage with customers of all backgrounds, help identify their needs, and find the vehicle that best suits the client.
How many sales do your employees close a month on average?
The average sales closed per employee is 12 to 15, with top performers closing 20+.
What is the size of the sales team I’d be working with?
We range between 15 to 18 salespeople at any given time.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
We believe in training our people so well that they could work anywhere but treating them so well that they’d never want to. We are selective about who we hire, which keeps our internal company culture strong and positive. Can you describe your performance review process?
Each salesperson will have a one-on-one review with their team lead weekly. The one-on-one is an interactive meeting where the salesperson is invited to participate. There is a monthly review to make sure you meet the pre-set benchmarks and receive the best support from our leadership team.
Can you describe your training process?
We believe in investing in our employees by providing extensive peer and management training in a supportive environment. After some initial online training, we pair you with a senior salesperson to shadow and watch. Once you have gained some knowledge, you will work with customers directly with the support of the senior salesperson shadowing you. We do not release you from training until we are comfortable; you are ready and confident because you have demonstrated the skills to be successful.
How does Frank Leta get involved with the local community?
The Leta Charitable Foundation’s mission is to provide safe and reliable transportation to people in need. We’ve donated over $1,000,000 to local charities to support this effort, including the Boys and Girls Club of St Louis, Stray Animal Rescue, Epworth Children and Family Services, St Patrick’s Center, the Leukemia, and Lymphoma Society, and the St Louis Science Center. Since 2014, we have donated over $1,000,000 to local charities and non-profits to amplify the impact they make in our community.
Where do you see Frank Leta in five years?
This is the most exciting time to join the Leta organization. We will completely change the car buying process in the next five years because we believe the current dealership model is outdated. Buying a car is an exciting time in life, so why do so many people dread the process? Our goal is to make a seamless and frictionless buying experience for the customer using advanced technology, creating the most transparent and efficient process imaginable. We believe we can be the Apple of the automotive industry.

We have an application form to fill out, and it should only take a few minutes.

What do your in-person interviews entail?
During the in-person interview, you will meet with at least two leadership team members. We will ask specific questions to ensure we are a good match. During the second half of your interview, you will have the opportunity to ask our team questions. The in-person interview is typically 30 minutes.

We perform background checks, drug screening as well as personality
tests before we hire an applicant.

You should hear back within 48 hours.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from
submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
This will depend on the availability of the candidate for interviews.
The whole process can take as little as a week.
