Frank Leta Charitable Foundation Donates Car to Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year, Kahalia
With every donation the Frank Leta Charitable Foundation makes, our hearts grow three sizes. We absolutely love giving back to our community and spreading joy whenever possible, and this donation was no different.
Kahalia, the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year, is nothing short of impressive. To be named the Youth of the Year (the highest honor a member can receive) is based on the individual’s contributions to their school, community, family, and the Boys and Girls Club. In addition to being the Youth Ambassador for Boys and Girls Club, she has also networked with representatives at the Capitol in Jefferson City and received the Phenomenal Kid Award from Delux Magazine.
One of the reasons we love working with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis is because of the impact they make every single day in the lives of our young people. (In fact, we love them so much that we chose Boys and Girls Club to volunteer at for this year’s Team Honda Week of Service!). Their mission is the reason we partner with them every year to provide their Youth of the Year with a new vehicle!
Frank Leta Automotive Group Operations Manager, Steve Brown, says, “It’s always a joy to meet the Youth of the Year and hear about how much they’ve accomplished and how far they’ve come with the help of Boys and Girls Club of St. Louis. We know that our youth are St. Louis’ future, which is why providing a vehicle for the Youth of the Year is something we’re honored to do and enjoy.”
